Hardware Requirements

Workgroup (one to five users without a file server)

Workstation Minimum Requirements:

• Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate w/Service pack 1, Windows XP Professional SP2, Windows 2000 Professional SP4.
• 2.x GHz processor or faster.
• 1 GB of RAM or more.

Client/Server Network (two or more users with a file server)

File Server Minimum Requirements:

• Windows 2003 and 2008 Server (32 or 64 bit) or Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4 (32 bit).
• 2.x GHz processor or faster.
• 2 GB of RAM or more.

Workstation Minimum Requirements:

• Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate, Windows XP Professional SP2, Windows 2000 Professional SP4. Thin client terminals are acceptable.
• 2.x GHz processor or faster.
• 1 GB of RAM or more.

Multiple-Location Network (access to multiple stores or warehouses)

Communication Server Minimum Requirements:

• Windows 2003 and 2008 Terminal Server (32 or 64 bit) or Windows 2000 Terminal Server with Service Pack 4 (32 bit).  Citrix products are supported.
• 2.x GHz processor or faster.
• 2 GB of RAM or more PLUS 128 MB of RAM per connected workstation (client).

Workstation Minimum Requirements:

• Thin client terminals can be used in both local and remote locations. Local PC workstations should meet the same specifications for the Client / Server network.

Subscription Solution (PROFITon-demand)

PROFITsystems can host your software on our state-of-the-art hosting servers for one low monthly fee per user. All you need is broadband internet access (DSL/Cable) and meet the minimum PC workstation or thin client requirements.
